SITUATIONS VACANT

The Board of Investment is looking for energetic professionals to work in an exciting project with tremendous opportunities for learning, professional growth, and interaction with international experts on business climate improvement and investment regimes. These positions will be on contract basis, till June 2026 in the PSDP project titled Sector Mapping & Regulatory Transformation (SMART). The positions will be based in Islamabad. The details of the positions are as under:

1. Deputy Director Admin (PPS-08)
(PKR.218,750/- per month Lump Sum Pay Package)
No. of Posts: 01
Domicile: Merit
Age: Upto 45 years
Required Qualification: Graduate degree from a reputable HEC recognized university
Required Experience:

• At least 03 years’ experience of public sector administrations/projects, involving management of Human Resource, Procurement and other official matters including followings:
  • Procurement under PPRA rules
  • Adequate knowledge of public sector working, rules and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work in teams and independently take responsibility for delivering key results

2. Accounts Officer (PPS-07)
(PKR.157,500/- per month Lump Sum Pay Package)

Domicile: Merit
Age: Up to 40 years
Required Qualification: Graduate degree in Accounting and Finance and related fields.
Required Experience:

• At least 03 years’ experienced with Audit & Accounts matters in a reputable organization including:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Adequate knowledge of public sector working

3. Regulatory Modernization Specialist (PPS-07)
(PKR.157,500/- per month Lump Sum Pay Package)

Age: Up to 40 years
Required Qualification: MBA/ Masters in Economics, Management Sciences or Equivalent
Required Experience:

• Having at least 03 years’ experience to deal with the smart regulation process, Ease of Doing Business or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work in teams and independently take responsibility for delivering key results
  • Knowledge of Investment, Export-Import trends and policies in Pakistan and globally
  • Adequate knowledge of public sector working

4. Business Analyst (PPS-07)
(PKR.157,500/- per month Lump Sum Pay Package)

Domicile: Merit
Age: Up to 35 years
Required Qualification: BSCS/ BS IT/ Master’s in Project Management. (Certification in Management Information System would be a plus point)
Required Experience:

• Min. 02 years of experience as Business and/or Quality Assurance Engineer.
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
  • Working knowledge of backend and frontend web technologies (Java, SQL and React etc.)

5. Public Sector Specialist (PPS-07)
(PKR.157,500/- per month Lump Sum Pay Package)

Age: Up to 35 years
Required Qualification: MBA/ Masters in Economics, Management Sciences or equivalent
Required Experience:

• At least 01 years’ experience in the relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge of Investment, Export Import trends and policies in Pakistan and globally
  • Ability to work in teams and independently take responsibility for delivering key results
  • Excellent Research skills, Business Communication, and Analytical Skills
  • Having adequate knowledge of public sector working

6. Sector Associate (PPS-06)
(PKR.105,000/- per month Lump Sum Pay Package)

Domicile: Merit
Age: Up to 35 years
Required Qualification: MBA/ Masters in Economics, Management Sciences, MS Project Management, BSc Engineering or equivalent
Required Experience:

• At least 01 years’ experience in the relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge of Investment, Export Import trends and policies in Pakistan and globally
  • Ability to work in teams and independently take responsibility for delivering key results
  • Excellent Research skills, Business Communication, and Analytical Skills
  • Having adequate knowledge of public sector working

7. Assistant (PPS-05)
(PKR.70,000/- per month Lump Sum Pay Package)
No. of Posts: 01
Domicile: Merit
Age: Up to 25 years
Required Qualification: Graduate
Required Experience: Working experience in Public or Private Sector will be given preference.

Terms and Conditions

1. Submission of original documents shall be mandatory at the time of interview.
2. Applicant already in Government service should apply through proper channel. In case of selection the applicant will have to resign from Government service before appointment.
3. Information provided in the application forms shall be verified in case of offer of appointment / selection. In case of any false or forged information, Board of Investment reserves the right of cancel candidature at any stage (even after employment, if so discovered later).
4. In case a person, who does not fulfill any of the provisions contained in the Recruitment Rules of that post, the department may cancel his/her candidature and withdraw nomination of the candidate at any stage.
5. The department reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process, increase/ decrease the number of posts as per requirement against any post at any stage without assigning any reasons.
6. Only short-listed applicants will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for purpose of test/ interview.
7. General age relaxation will be applicable as per Government rules.
8. Candidates having Experience of public sector will be given preference.
