Corporate Services Department, Transport Section at the British Deputy High Commission, Karachi is looking to hire a Mechanic, who will be expected to repair and maintain official fleet vehicles of the mission. The category of vehicles includes 4×4 vehicles both armoured and soft skin, as well as salon cars and motorbikes. As a mechanic, you will play a key role in keeping these vehicles roadworthy. Jobholder will have to ensure that the maintenance is conducted as per the manufacturer’s handbook which is governed by the UK standards, oversee daily vehicle checks conducted by drivers, maintain vehicle service history records, etc.
