Ministry of Industries and Production, Islamabad requires services of qualified, well-experienced and motivated individuals for appointment against the following Special Professional Pay Scale (SPPS) positions on a contract basis, as per rules/policy:

| Privatization Specialist | SPPS-II | 01 | Masters degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field of professional certifications and memberships of international or national professional bodies such as CA, CFA, CPA, or similar will be preferred. 15+ years of professional experience in corporate finance, privatization, public sector reforms, and/or financial advisory services with any think tank or similar organization in Pakistan or abroad, including DFIs working on similar areas in transaction advisory mandates facilitating the privatization program of the country or advisory mandates attracting FDI/FDI in the country. Proficiency in financial modelling, financial statement analysis, valuation analysis, capital market operations, business communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge and familiarity with regulatory, commercial, and economic analysis. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. | Corporate Legal Advisor | SPPS-II | 01 | LL.B or LL.M degree and enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court in Pakistan. At least 15 years of legal experience, including experience in the areas of corporate laws, regulatory frameworks, legal and international arbitration, contract negotiations, privatization matters, litigation, handling commercial (PPP privatizing or G2G) transactions and public procurement. |
| Industrial Economist | SPPS-II | 01 | Masters Degree or higher in Economics, public finance, international trade or related field. At least 15 years of experience in economic analysis, industrial research, or a related field of which 5 years’ experience in a senior position, recognized institute, government or international organization is required. Exceptional research and analytical skills. Proven experience in using quantitative and qualitative methods and statistical or econometric software. Experience of preparing and presenting policy analysis and recommendations using economic models and financial analysis. Excellent data analysis and presentation skills. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills. |
| Industrial Policy Advisor | SPPS-II | 01 | Masters degree or higher in Industrial Management or Development Economics. At least 15 years of proven experience in the international trade and developing industrial policies conducting research on economic trends, key industrial indicators, and new products and technologies in the market. 05 years’ experience in a Senior Position; experience with international organizations would be preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels to discuss policy, related matters. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge and understanding of economic models and policy, related software. |
1. Recruitment against the above SPPS positions will be made according to the Revised SPPS Policy.
2. Details of ToRs for the above posts i.e. Qualification, Experience and Criteria for the shortlisting of the candidates and advertisement is available on the official website of the Industries and Production Division (www.moip.gov.pk).
