Duties include managing clients/passengers, providing travel information, addressing passenger concerns, and providing a welcoming environment. The role requires active coordination with railway station teams/staff to ensure better service delivery and passenger facilitation. |
General Instructions:
- Contract Terms: All appointments are purely on contract basis for a period of two (2) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance on yearly basis.
- Salary: Salary will be admissible as per the Standard Pay Package issued by the Finance Division on 18th April 2022 or Rs. 60,000/- per month whichever is higher.
- Experience Consideration: Relevant experience will be given weightage.
- Age Relaxation: As per Government Policy.
- Quotas: As per Government Policy.
- Government Employees: Candidates serving in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous organizations must apply through proper channel with a departmental NOC.
- Forgery Clause: Submission of forged/false documents shall lead to disqualification and legal action.
- Application Submission: Interested candidates shall apply online via the National Job Portal at https://njp.gov.pk within fifteen (15) days of the advertisement’s publication.
- Incomplete/Delayed Applications: Incomplete applications, hand-submitted applications, or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
- Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates, based on their academic results, will be called for the interview.
- TA/DA: No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
- Training: Successful candidates will undergo short training courses organized by Pakistan Railways which are mandatory for posting.
- Bond: Successful candidates shall execute a bond on judicial stamp paper of Rs. 200/- with one surety, duly attested by a First Class Magistrate, to reimburse the Government for all expenses incurred, including pay, allowances, and training charges, in case of resignation, being abscond, or unsatisfactory completion of training or probation period.
- Right to Reject: Pakistan Railways Headquarters reserves the right to select/reject or not to fill any position(s) without assigning any reason at any stage of recruitment process or later on.
