VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) for Component-1 of IFRAP invites eligible candidates for their services against the following positions:
- Program Specialist Irrigation (01 Position)
- Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s (minimum sixteen years of education) in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering Management, or any other relevant discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years post-qualification in irrigation and water management projects, including community-driven irrigation infrastructure projects. Experience in program management, MIS systems, community development projects, and working in Balochistan or similar regions. Proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Program Specialist Roads (01 Position)
- Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s (minimum sixteen years of education) in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or Highway Engineering, or any other relevant discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in road infrastructure development, including planning, design, and construction. Expertise in road engineering, bridges, highways, and infrastructure-related projects. Project management experience with familiarity in Balochistan context preferred.
- M&E Specialist (01 Position)
- Qualification: Master’s (sixteen years of education) in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in community-infrastructure/development projects with dedicated M&E work. Skills in M&E frameworks, baseline studies, evaluations, remote monitoring systems, MIS, and Android-based data collection.
- Environmental Safeguards Specialist (01 Position)
- Qualification: Master’s degree in Environmental Management, Natural Resource Management, or Environmental Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in environmental and social impact assessments, preferably in donor-funded infrastructure projects, with experience in Balochistan or similar areas.
- Social Safeguards Specialist (01 Position)
- Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s (minimum sixteen years of education) in Sociology, Rural Development, Social Sciences, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in community-driven development projects. Familiarity with international social safeguard policies, social inclusion, indigenous peoples’ rights, and involuntary resettlement frameworks.
- Gender Specialist (01 Position)
- Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s (minimum sixteen years of education) in Gender Studies, Sociology, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in gender mainstreaming and women’s empowerment, preferably in development projects. Skilled in gender analysis, gender-sensitive interventions, and community-driven development.
