| Deputy Lead Engineer – Corrosion Control (Karachi & Sindh) (Job Code 8439-02) | Engineering graduate preferably in Metallurgy, Mechanical or Electrical with at least 4 years post-qualification experience primarily in pipeline integrity management and Cathodic protection. Experience of working in Oil & Gas / Public Sector shall be preferred. PEC registration is mandatory. Certification of AMPP(NACE), API, or TWI for Cathodic Protection/ Coating Inspection will be an added advantage. | The purpose of this position is to ensure the Corrosion Management of all the Pipelines and gathering network within SSGC and to ensure that the integrity of the pipeline system is not compromised through high performance business assets integrity program in order to reduce the failures, risks & operating hazards of the pipeline system. Position is responsible for managing cathodic protection and design on existing. The incumbent is also responsible to resolve all corrosion and coating related issues at site in compliance with best industry practices. Incumbent is also responsible for dealing with third party for new and ongoing projects and day to day corrosion prevention, mitigation and monitoring activities. |
