Government Holdings (Private) Limited (GHPL) is the 5th largest oil and gas exploration and production Company in Pakistan. GHPL is a holding Company fully owned by the Government of Pakistan with investments in the exploration and production sector. It was incorporated in the year 2000 as a private limited company under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (current Companies Act 2017). It is the third public sector Oil and Gas Exploration Company working under the Petroleum Division of the Ministry of Energy, Pakistan.
