Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following faculty positions:

Experience 10-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. OR 5 years post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. Minimum Number of Publications 10 research publications with at least 4 publications in last five (5) years as per HEC’s recognized journal.
2	Assistant Professor	BPS-19	2	Minimum Qualification PhD in Intelligence & Security Studies / Security Studies / International Politics & Security Studies or Strategic Studies / IR / Peace and Conflict Studies from HEC Recognized National / International University.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Applicants working in Government/Semi Government Organizations/Corporations and Autonomous Bodies should apply though proper channel with N.O.C. from the employer.
Applicant for the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor are required to submit five copies of the applications/dossiers duly bind along-with a soft copy of dossier in PDF form on the prescribed proforma along-with attested documents (i) degrees/certificates (ii) experience certificates (iii) CNIC (iv) domicile (v) two (02) recent photographs, with a Pay Order, Bank Draft or paid Challan (only HBL, QAU branch Account No.0002940002588203) for Rs.2,000/- for each position drawn in favour of Acting Director, National Institute of Intelligence and Security Studies, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. Applications by the Pakistani nationals from abroad may be sent along with US $100 as application fee.
All the applications should reach the office of the Acting Director, National Institute of Intelligence and Security Studies, QAU within 45 days from the date of this advertisement.
Applications incomplete in any regard will not be entertained at the time of interview.

The selected candidates will be governed by the Institute’s Service Statutes and rules/regulations from time to time.
The Selection Board reserves the right to offer a special package in addition to the basic pay scale.
The Institute reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of positions, not to fill any position/withhold the appointment against any advertised position or to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.

In the case of Assistant Professor only eligible candidates will have to undergo the screening process of Lecture/Seminar and only short-listed candidates will be called for interview before Selection Board of the Institute.
